the VSX (Visual Studio Extensibility) team has started posting preliminary details about the sessions planned for the VSX Developer Conference to be held September 15th and 16th.

 Microsoft is hosting this developer conference to teach developers how to extend Visual Studio.

 In addition to the VSX Conference, Visual Studio Industry Partner (VSIP) program partners are invited to attend the weeklong Microsoft Dev Tools Ecosystem Summit. In addition to the VSX Developer Conference, VSIP partners will get exclusive content during the Partner & Business Strategy Day on September 17. The VSIP Developer Clinic will be hosted on September 18-19, where partners can request focused 1:1 meetings with various Microsoft development teams.
