I'm So Old

At least I feel that way, working in this business. As much as I love technology I'm actually pretty slow to adopt it into my own life. My 'top-end' TV is still a 27" CRT, I don't own an MP3 player and my cell phone is bare bones. In fact, it wasn't until just this week that I discovered the joys of online music downloads. I don't why it took me so long but I eventually meandered over to MSN Music to take a look. After a bit of poking around I discovered a bunch of songs that I'd been thinking I wanted but had held off buying the whole album. (You kids do know what 'albums' refer to, right?) A few clicks later and I had a Cd's worth of tunes for only $0.99 a pop. I could see how this would get addictive, though, and end up costing me as much as several full CDs in the store.

So, for what it's worth, here's the line up from my new mix CD, courtesy of MSN Music:

  1. Fire On High (Electric Light Orchestra)
  2. Touch and Go (Emerson, Lake & Powell)
  3. Take Me Away (Blue Öyster Cult)
  4. You've Got Another Thing Coming (Judas Priest)
  5. Follow My Heart (REO Speedwagon)
  6. I'm Alive (Electric Light Orchestra)
  7. If Looks Could Kill (Heart)
  8. Girl On The Verge (Sarah Hudson)
  9. When I Come Around (Green Day)
  10. Vertigo (U2)
