Microsoft Switzerland Technology Innovation Award 2011 Open for Registrations

Microsoft has just launched a new Microsoft Switzerland Awards strategy to focus all customer- and partner awards under one concept. To maximize impact of the awards given to our committed and innovative of partners and customers, Microsoft presents each year following two official awards:

· Microsoft Switzerland Technology Innovation Award at TechDays conference

· Microsoft Switzerland Partner of the Year Award  at Connection Days conference

Registration to both awards is now open.

Purpose of the Technology Innovation Award 2011 is to recognize people and teams that have developed an outstanding project based on any of the following Microsoft technologies: .NET Framework 4, Silverlight 4, Windows Azure, Windows Phone 7, SharePoint Server 2010 and XNA. The project should be at least in a demoable stage of development.

The jury will evaluate the projects based innovative and adequate use of the technology, complexity and business relevancy of the solution, volumes supported by the solution, as well as ”intuitivity” and elegance of the end-user experience.

The Technology Innovation Award 2011 will be presented at TechDays 2011 Basel on May 2, 2011. All the awarded projects will receive a free 2-days entry ticket to the conference. The best project(s) will be awarded the Microsoft Switzerland Technology Innovation Award 2011, will receive a trophy, an official winner’s emblems, as well as broad publicity.
