Silverlight 2 RTW Now Available

After yesterday’s official announcement of the availability of Silverlight 2, you can now download the Silverlight 2 Release and accompanying Visual Studio 2008 and Expression Blend 2 support for it here.

Silverlight 2, Microsoft cross-browser and cross-platform technology for building .NET Rich Internet Application comes with dozens of built-in UI controls that can be used to build applications. Microsoft also announced further support of open source communities by funding advanced Silverlight development capabilities with the Eclipse Foundation’s integrated development environment (IDE) and by providing new controls to developers with the Silverlight Control Pack (SCP) under the Microsoft Permissive License
