App of the Week – MUZU.TV for Windows 8

 Hi all,

This week I like to present you an Entertainment app I first discovered on my Xbox 360. But yesterday I also found it in the Windows 8 Store:

What can you do with this nice app? is an app that plays over 90’000 official music videos coming from a website with the same name (find link below). Maybe you now think “Oh I know sites like that, they only have old crappy songs!”. NO! For example you can find the song Diamonds from Rihanna, just click here 🙂

So now let’s see in little bit more detail what features you have within this app:

  • Search in categories like: Featured, Popular, Play List, Browse, Chronicle
  • Full screen video player
  • Search and change of videos
  • Live tile Updates with newest music Videos

My conclusion: In my eyes this is a nice app, with a lot of cool songs. The quality of the videos is pretty good, same for the sound quality. What I’m missing within this app is the possibility to save single videos to an own playlist. Hope this will come in a future release. What I like too is that I can use this app on my desktop, tablet, phone and even on my Xbox and this all for free! That’s the way I like it 🙂

For more information visit the official site, where you also find the link to download this app from the Windows Store. The website for this product is
