PhD Scholarship: Call for projects

The application process for Microsoft Research PhD Scholarships is open until 16th of September. The projects should be related to the following research fields by Microsoft Research in Cambridge:

• Computational Science
• Computer-Mediated Living
• Constraint Reasoning
• Machine Learning and Perception
• Online Services and Advertising
• Programming Principles and Tools
• Systems and Networking

As previous years, applications must be made by PhD supervisors not by students. Supervisors will be informed of the decision in January 2012 and will then have up to one year to find the best student for the proposed project. Students will typically start their PhD in October 2012.
