PhD Student from ETH Zürich Selected to Internship at Redmond

Philipp Unterbrunner, a PhD student in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, has been selected to Microsoft Internship Program taking place in Redmond in the summer of 2009. Philipp is working at the Systems Group of ETH Zurich with professors Donald Kossmann and Gustavo Alonso. His research at ETH is on distributed main-memory databases. During his internship at Microsoft, he will be working with Microsoft SQL Server (Microsoft's database product) focusing on product's "core".
