Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship
This year`s PhD Scholarship Applications Call is now live at: https://research.microsoft.com/en-us/collaboration/global/apply-europe.aspx.
Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship is a program to recognize and support exceptional students who show the potential to make an outstanding contribution to science and computing. The program supports PhD students in computing and those working at the intersection of computing and the sciences. Application possibility is open only to PhD Supervisor. Selected PhD Supervisors have up to a year to find the best possible student for the project.
The different areas in which it is possible to subscribe are:
· Machine Learning and Perception
· Online Services and Advertising
· Programming, Principles, and Tools
Application (in English) can be done via the online application tool. Application deadline is 16 September 2009. Further instructions are available online.
There are various awards available, such as annual bursary up to a max of three years for research, a free laptop full of software, Microsoft Research Cambridge visit and more.
