Student Scholarships available for Digital Games cruise

Yep, it’s a cruise.  And some of the top games researchers and companies will be on board talking about digital games.  And it could be FREE!

The rules around submitting for a student scholarship at the Foundations of Digital Games are now posted at the conference website.

Applicants for FDG Student Scholarships must be advanced undergraduates (less than two years from graduation at the application deadline) or Masters students. (Doctoral students are invited to apply to a separate Doctoral Consortium.) The application requires a curriculum vitae (in plain text or PDF), grade point average (or explanation of why it is not available), the name and email address of a faculty member willing to serve as a reference, and a 250-word description of a game project to which the student has contributed (and a description of the student's role).

Applications close: December 20th, 2008

This sounds like a great opportunity to network, show off your work, learn a lot AND take a fun cruise.  Why not apply? :-)
