The app-building virtual team I belong to (in Microsoft's developer content publishing organization) has published its first two Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app samples on GitHub. You can find them here:

QuizGame is a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app sample that explores the benefits of running the same app on multiple devices in direct communication with one-another. https://github.com/Microsoft/Windows-appsample-quizgame

RSSReader is a sample Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app for retrieving RSS feeds and viewing articles. https://github.com/Microsoft/Windows-appsample-rssreader

Also, today we launched the new Windows Dev Center (https://dev.windows.com/). This is a significant launch that includes the preview of the new dashboard, a new home page, and a lot of new and updated content for developers.
