I'm going to be doing a series not on testing but on the people that carry it out. This will be a post on the subject of the testers themselves. I plan to describe what the various roles in testing are, what to look for in a good tester, what sort of questions to ask, etc. This post will contain links to each post in the series. Also, this is a great place to post any suggestions for topics you might want me to cover.
To help whet your appetite, here are links to a few posts from the past few years on the subject of testers:
- What is a test architect?
- Three reasons to consider being a test developer
- Test developers are real developers
