I want to share some cloud-related news coming out of our relationship with CA Technologies.
Today, CA Technologies the preview of CA Cloud Storage for System z featuring Microsoft Azure. The solution expands Azure’s reach as a viable option for enterprise customers who need an efficient, cloud-first option for storing data while maintaining on-premises servers.
CA Cloud Storage for System z, when used with Azure and a third-party cloud storage appliance, can help enterprises store, access, retrieve and recover data quickly and easily. The solution can also help reduce costs by eliminating the need for businesses to over-invest in storage capacity for future growth. By linking Azure with CA Technologies cloud solutions, we’re providing another great option – and building a stronger partner ecosystem – for enterprise customers to take advantage of cost and efficiency savings by embracing a hybrid environment.
Moving forward, you’ll see us continue investing in our alliance with CA Technologies to provide enterprises with fast and flexible access to cloud-based storage and capacity whenever they need it.
