Hotmail Now Does POP3

At last I hear you say but good things (well, POP3) come to those who wait and certainly for those who have an iPhone or Blackberry and want Hotmail 🙂

Here’s the deets and thanks to Sarah for the tipoff

POP server: (Port 995)  
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: (Port 25)  
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? Yes

    Sorry I’ve tried this with a account and I can’t seem to get it to wrok on my iphone. Must be missing as step or something… Any help appreictaed…

    Seems you need to be a MSN Plus subscriber or something stupid like that… oh, yes, why not pay for POP access? Where do they get it?
