Capgemini and Amazon Doing SharePoint in the cloud?

I just read the details of Capgemini hooking up with Amazon Web Services and was intrigued by one part of the press release

 

Capgemini’s new Cloud Computing Center of Excellence will initially focus on three enterprise use cases:

Microsoft Sharepoint in the cloud, Oracle ERP in the cloud, and Application Development and Testing in the cloud. Capgemini has so far conducted successful pilots of cloud computing capability for all three use cases on the Amazon Web Services platform.

 

SharePoint in the cloud eh? Sounds familiar (we released SharePoint Online yesterday in the US). I’m intrigued at to what this really means. I’m sure Mary Jo will be too given her recent post questioning what we mean by SharePoint in the cloud.
