Essex boy at the core of Apple

The term Essex boy is slightly derogatory in the UK but this one has done very well. Ironic that I was chatting only last night with Jemima Kiss about who would succeed Steve Jobs at Apple and whether Jonathan Ive was the man and then The Times dedicate a two page spread to this exact topic this morning. For my next trick I shall predict the winning lottery numbers.

He's the obvious choice but reading this you get the sense that it'd be very different leadership under "Jony". Though Jemima is a Mac fan and I'm clearly from the other corner of the house we both agreed on a glowing respect to the fact that the man designing some of the worlds most beautiful products is a Brit. Marvellous :)
