Silverlight-QuarkViewer für QuarkXPress 7 (Quark XTension für Windows und Mac)

Ich hatte bereits im Oktober darüber geschrieben und wir hatten auch die große Ehre, auf der Xtopia 07 eine erste Präsentation der damaligen Technologiestudie in der Öffentlichkeit vorstellen zu dürfen und jetzt ist sie offiziell und als kostenloser Download verfügbar: QuarkViewer for QuarkXPress 7, eine Quark XTension für den Export von Daten von QuarkXPress 7.3.x nach Microsoft Silverlight.

Aus der offiziellen Pressemeldung: „QuarkViewer is an XTensions module for QuarkXPress 7.3.x that allows users to export QuarkXPress layout pages for viewing in Microsoft Silverlight player. QuarkViewer may run as a pure desktop application or a Web application. It provides rich reading experience for QuarkXPress layouts and preserves the rich typography and high-fidelity visual design that QuarkXPress is known for. The target audience is QuarkXPress users who would like to experiment with hosting their QuarkXPress projects on their company Web site without any extra design or deployment effort, share QuarkXPress project files without sending actual files and fonts, and support an audience that doesn’t run QuarkXPress on their machines.”
