Congrats to Relay TM on Strategic Partnership with Nature
Congratulations to Relay Technology Management, one of our BizSpark Startups of the Day, on their a Series A investment and strategic partnership with Nature Publishing Group.
Relay is a Boston Dogpatch Labs startup, and a 2010 MassChallenge finalist that brings insight to drug development through access to unified information.
Relay’s software platform is designed to combat the problem of data overload facing the pharmaceutical industry. By using computational tools and text mining alongside proprietary algorithms and next-generation analytics, Relay automates the data collection and initial evaluation stages of biopharmaceutical strategic partnering. The Relay approach frees up time and resources within business development teams to focus on in-depth analysis of the important deal parameters.
Since becoming Startup of the Day, Relay has successfully completed paid pilot projects with top pharmaceutical companies, including 3 of the top 5 big pharmas. They are now are recruiting beta testers for their product launch, which will occur in early 2012.
With the announcement, the Nature brand & platform will begin to feature the Relay product. The two companies look forward to working together to better service the biopharmaceutical community.
