The Microsoft BizSpark Partner of the Year, Emerging ISVs from BizSpark One and more at Day 1 of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference

Yesterday marked the first day of Microsoft’s annual Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), Microsoft’s premier event for the partner community to network and learn about Microsoft’s roadmap, with nearly 15,000 partners from around the world in attendance. Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO provided a keynote outlining Microsoft’s vision for 2012, with Tami Reller, Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Windows and Windows Live providing an overview of the opportunities ahead with Windows.

 

Congratulations to StorSimple, Microsoft BizSpark Partner of the Year at WPC!

One of the highlights of the day included the presentation of the Partner Awards, recognizing top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Ursheet Parikh, CEO of StorSimple, leading provider of enterprise cloud storage for Windows infrastructures, was on-stage to accept the Microsoft BizSpark Partner of the Year Award from Steve Ballmer. Congratulations to StorSimple!
