What did you do before creating your company?

Serial entrepreneur.

It is good to get recognized by a company that is a key partner for you.

What is your company’s mission?

Providing easy to use dashboard for marketers.

Captain Dash is a one stop shopping solution, in a SaaS mode, that’s aggregate anything that contributes to the purchase decision.

How did you get the idea for your company?

Talking with Bruno Walther, my business partner and one the top French marketing expert.

Tell us about your funding history. Are you currently looking for funding? If so, how much?

We seed funded the company and now we are looking for venture funding.

How many employees do you have? How many developers?

3 on top of us.

Are you hiring?If yes, what are you hiring for and where?

We are hiring .NET developers and Silverlight expert. And we are keen on talking to anyone passionate about data.

Which platform are you building on?Why?

Silverlight for the front office, .NET and SQL. Our added value are not on reinvented the wheel but in using the best integrated technologies to create new experience and bring efficiency to the marketing peoples.

Where do you see opportunities today in the Software/Internet area?

At the crossing of 3 worlds: Rich Interface application, Business Intelligence and Open Data, where we stand.

What do you think about the BizSpark Program?

It’s efficient and made in a very good startup spirit.

Do you have any advice for young Software entrepreneurs?

Spend more money on marketing and experience than in pure IT.

Who’s your role model?

Bernard Liautaud, the business object founder “we had a plan and we did it”.
