End of Extended Lifecycle Support for SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4

We would like to remind all the customers that Extended Lifecycle Support for SQL Server 2000 SP4 ends on April 9th; 2013. Microsoft is ending support for this product as part of our Service Pack support policy, found in https://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle.  

SQL Server 2000 SP4 will no longer receive assisted support or security updates from Microsoft after the end of the extended support date.  Self-Help online support will continue to be available for a minimum of 12 months after the product reaches the end of support.  Self-Help options include public knowledge base articles, FAQs, troubleshooting tools which are typically available from https://support.microsoft.com and the Microsoft Download Center. 

For Premier Support customers who need additional support from Microsoft should contact their Technical Account Manager, Account Representative or Application Development consultant for assistance.
