Known Issue In Cumulative Updates For SQL Server 2005 SP3 In Analysis Services Processing Engine

We have learned of degraded customer experience with SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) Cumulative Update (CU) 6 (Build number ranges below).

Customers using SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services may see the symptom as described in KB 978145. The KB article provides further details of the issue with a link to the SQL Server 2005 SP3 CU 7 hotfix packages.

Affected Build Range

Customers with SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) build 09.00.4266 to 09.00.4272.
