SQL Server Express Featured in ASP.NET Webcast Series

Microsoft, in conjunction with O'Reilly and Dr. Dobb's, is sponsoring the ASP.NET 2.0 Webcast Series. These 45 webcasts are meant to utilize your existing web dev skills in 3 different tracks: JSP, PHP, and ColdFusion.

SQL Server Express will be featured in 3 of these webcasts, a multi-part continuing series entitled Building Data Driven Web Applications with SQL Server Express on March 13th, 15th, and 16th. We're particularly excited about our presenter, Rick Dobson, PhD.

Rick has been an author, trainer, and developer since the mid 1980s with his practice, ProgrammingMSAccess.com. His emphasis on writing, training, and developing shifted over the years, but he always demonstrated a motivation to create computer solutions either directly or through others by training and mentoring them.

Since 1999, Rick has authored seven books and three DVDs on Microsoft database technology, Visual Basic programming, and web development. The title for Rick's most recent book is Beginning SQL Server 2005 Express Database Applications with Visual Basic Express and Visual Web Developer Express.

To register for Rick's webcasts and others, visit LearntoASP.net. Check out the "Data Access" tab for the SQL Server Express webcasts. In addition to quality training and content, when you attend three webcasts, you’ll receive an ASP.NET 2.0 Development Pack, including Microsoft Visual Studio® 2005 Standard Edition (Not for Resale), five chapters of Dino Esposito's Programming ASP.NET 2.0 Core Reference, and more.
