SQL Server 2005 Express Edition won’t install on my Brazilian Portuguese OS

The SQL Server Setup team has verified that this is a bug.  We are currently investigating, but at this point we do not have a workaround.

Further updates will be provided via this weblog as they become available.

  1. I had the same problem here.

I am using Windows XP SP1 Brazilian Portuguese

I have installed Framework 2.0 Beta.

I would like to be a beta tester of Microsoft Next Generation products,

however with a bug like that I think I’m going to try Visual Basic 2005 Express Beta 1 and MSDN Beta 1.

    Thanks in advance.
