Imagine Cup US Finals: Innovation and Entrepreneurship

You missed your chance to network with congressmen, Venture Capitalists, and Microsoftees like Andy Sterland from the Popfly Team, but you CAN see some of the presentations now available on Channel8, Microsoft’s channel for students.

Channel8 and MTVU both have videos covering the national finals. Or, meet the teams and their projects through your very own Press Pass.

Pitching Your Idea

In this video, Perry Lowe, a professor at Bentley College and Philip DesAutels, an uber-microsoftie, were giving students advice on how to pitch your ideas and some presentation skills at the Imagine Cup US Finals. Perry and Philip talk about telling a good story, rehearsing, does bleeding edge technology sell the product, and knowing your audience.  Perry and Philip provided their slides: one deck is on innovation and entrepreneurship and the other is on giving the killer presentation. Download the decks and watch the video to launch your new business.
