Announcing Professional Advisory Services – Updated Launch Date

Beginning Monday, August 17th, if you contact SharePoint Professional Technical Support requesting Advisory assistance with either Forms Based Authentication (FBA) Deployment or SharePoint SQL Migrations, your case will be routed to an Advisory Services Support Engineer.  The Advisory Services Engineer will explain the hourly services offering to you for these scenarios in more detail and give you the opportunity to proceed on an hourly basis or work the issue as self help.  This initiative does not affect break/fix cases.  Microsoft Professional Break-Fix support is an incident based, fixed price, reactive support option that focuses on a specific problem, error message, or functionality that is not working as designed.
