Introducing DevConf: A community organized conference for developers

Coming up on the 8th March in Johannesburg is a new full day conference for all software developers and those interested in DevOps & databases known as DevConf. This conference is being run for the first time and has attracted over 40 speakers, including a number international speakers to spend the day sharing and learning. DevConf serves to inspire software developers. A range of topics applicable to software development will be presented. From keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends to tackling the challenges of working in large enterprise systems – it's a buffet of experiences, ideas and pragmatic advice as well as an opportunity to connect with peers across the industry. To achieve this the conference will have five tracks of content with over 40 sessions, covering programming languages, soft skills & working in teams, DevOps, databases and tools & frameworks giving developers the opportunity to grow their existing skills and cross skill for the future.
