I have recently been getting some questions about MFC - particularly in terms of what is new w/MFC in Visual Studio 2005 and our future plans.  The team posted some information on the C++ developer center in MSDN.  Click here for more information on this.

This is an interesting article. I can understand that Microsoft wants to help its customers preserve and continue to get returns on their existing investments in software based on MFC.

But for folks starting new applications today with no legacy investment, I would assume that .NET w/o MFC is the best choice?

    Well that’s pretty vague.

Will MFC dialogs host .net forms and controls?

How do we instantiate .net controls from mfc 2005 c++?

Will tabing between sub-items in embedded .net controls work properly?
