Interesting read about new capabilities in VE 6.1 (such as the return of the complete route-geometry) which, when combined with the geo-spatial features in SQL Server 2008 allow you to do interesting things like show multiple routes on a map.  Oh, and of course, the map shown in the example is from Munich, so I like this even more.  Read the complete blog entry (linked below) for well-written implementation details.
