SoCal MSDN Launch – download Lynn Langit’s .ppt decks

**UPDATE** Download recordings of my .NET 3.5 demos and sample source files here .  Daniel Egan’s blog here.  Tim Heuer’s blog here.

1. Intro deck – this deck is displaying strangely in the browser, download the deck so that you can see it as it was designed.  Also, note that I’ve put a ton of links into this deck, particularly around the community events.  I think this will be useful for many developers who attend Tuesday’s launch presentation.

  1. Hi Lynn,

    Fresh from the Anaheim launch…

where can I get the info for the SQL Server FireStarter event to be held in May?

By the way, I love your .NET presentation. It was my second time to attend event in which you are one of the speakers. My first taste of Lynn Langit’s talk was on Code Camp in Cal State Fullerton back in January. Your last name is easy to remember for me because in Tagalog your last name translates to "Heaven" (I’m a Filipino based here in Long Beach, CA)…which can easily justfied…you’re Heaven-Sent to the Developer’s Community!! More power!!!

    Hi Lynn,

After attended your developers’ session yesterday, I’m really excited about .NET 2008.  My company is using .NET 1.1 for our existing application.  My concern is: will it break if we upgrade to 3.5 ?  In your session, you’ve mentioned that 3.5 houses both 2.0 and 3.0 versions.  You didn’t say anything about 1.1.  What is your thought on this?  Thanks and I’m looking into other events for developer in the OC area.  Hope to see you in one of those events.
