Southern California DigiGirlz Day
We hosted the first (annual) SoCal DigiGirlz Day on March 24, at the Microsoft Irvine, CA MTC. 105 high-school-aged girls experienced technologies around making/editing/hosting/sharing movies. We'll host a summer camp (already registered full!), and offer the 'day' and 'camp' annually. DigiGirlz is a global program, hosted by Microsoft and supported by local tech communities, to get information about careers in technology to girls. We've got more pictures here also.
