Microsoft Launch Wave 2008 in LA on Feb 27
I like it when cool stuff happens in my town. It looks like over 6,000 of you will join me, the local Microsoft team, and a couple of people from corporate (you know, SteveB and some folks from Redmond :) at the LA Launch event live next Wednesday, February 27th, for Windows Server 2008, VS 2008, and SQL Server 2008. If you are attending, stop over to the hands-on-labs and say 'hi', I'll be proctoring there in the VS labs in the afternoon.
The theme for this launch is 'Heroes Happen { Here }'. The heroes being you, our customers. In particular, we've selected some customers who have done amazing things with our products and they will be featured at launch. More on that later...
Launch is totally sold out, so if you didn't make it in, then you can go the virtual route. We will also have some local launch events where I will be presenting the developer content (along with some other local folks) - in Anaheim on April 8, in San Diego on May 13, and in Honolulu on April 30- I hope to see you there.
