Microsoft’s TTS and Speech Recognition Technology
Hey what is up with the Microsoft Speech Technology? I have a lot of people who are interested in using the TTS and Speech recognition that has been built into Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. The code examples are anemic and there is a lack of new thinking. This means that IBM Dragon is making inroads to the excellent speech technology already incorporated into Windows 7.
Looking at this, I have discovered, with some work, a few links, but not enough. There needs to be more work around this interesting and useful technology. Especially with Kinect coming out with the SDK for Windows.
