Asia Tour Update

I'm currently in Malaysia, preparing to present at an Architecture Symposium on Web Services Interoperability.  I'm planning a very interactive, demo-led session to show exactly what can be done today including basic Web Services Interop, integration of Web Services with mainframes, generating an Office XML document from Websphere and Weblogic, and Interop with WS-Security.

After my previous post from Australia last week I headed up to Beijing where I ran two sessions at the Beijing Regional Architect Forum and also met up with CSDN (China Software Developer Network), who are doing some great .NET community activities in China.  I'm hoping that we can do more with this group to get some of our architecture content localized for the Chinese audience in the near future.

Between Beijing and Malaysia I visited customers in Singapore.  There were some very interesting meetings - ranging from organizations that are just looking into this space through to some very exciting .NET projects running today.  I'd like to extend a special thanks to those people who took out part of their day to speak with me.

One of my many actions from these meetings was to make available the slide decks, which I have now done.  You can find these on my presentations page.  For those that didn't have the chance to catch my sessions I will be recording these as Web casts upon my return to Redmond (once I sifted through all my outstanding Email, of course <g>).
