TechEd 2004 (San Diego, May 23rd - 28th)

TechEd 2004 is in San Diego (May 23rd - 28th) and the agenda has recently been posted to the site.

I'll be presenting on Thursday 27th in WIN325 Microsoft and Interoperability. This is a new session where I'll be exploring all of the interoperability touch points that we have within Microsoft - and the technologies and products that our products support for interoperability.  Although this is listed in the Windows track, I've found the content for this appeals greatly to many architect level audiences (to address this, the session is also cross referenced when you search for architecture sessions on the site).

For other interoperability related sessions I recommend DEV381 .NET and J2EE Strategies for Interoperability. Graham Glass from webMethods and I held this session last year in Dallas. This year, Ted Neward from TheServerSide.net will be presenting. As well as taking the new role with TSS, Ted's also been working on completing an interoperability course for DevelopMentor, so I'm looking forward to hearing about his experience and progress.

If you haven't seen Pat Helland speak before, go see his Metropolis analogy in ARC300 Metropolis: Envisioning the Service Oriented Enterprise, which kicks off a barrage of SOA related architecture sessions at this event. For Smart Client related sessions, David Hill is presenting ARC305 Smart Client Principles on the Tuesday.

All in all, looks like it will be a great conference!
