My take-aways:

  • $12 - 75MHz ARM7 chips
  • Makes me wish I had data about what kind of run-time license fee OEMs would pay to put a minimal OS on this (ie. is CE priced right for this market)
  • Would be worth trying an OS image with kernel / networking / file system, to see how well it works
