The final release of Silverlight 4 Tools for Visual Studio 2010 and WCF RIA Services is now available!

Silverlight 4 Tools for Visual Studio 2010 and WCF RIA Services include numerous features to help developers work with Silverlight 4 applications including:

  • Support for targeting Silverlight 4 in the Silverlight designer and project system
  • RIA Services application templates and libraries to simplify access to data services (see Silverlight.tv video and whitepaper for more details)
  • Support for Silverlight 4 elevated trust and out-of-browser applications
  • Support for Sample Data allowing item templates and bindings to light up at design time
