About our Group: The Management Platforms and Service Delivery (MPSD) team is responsible for driving pre-release deployments of MSD software into production environments in order to provide critical product feedback on the System Center family of products. We do this so that when our products go to market they have already passed a high quality bar across several enterprise deployments. We engineer and operate System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr), Forefront, Opalis and other complimentary software across deployments at Microsoft, Microsoft’s retail stores and few external customers.

Our role is to drive improvements into our products and services by dogfooding, operating, and extending these management and security solutions. We drive innovation, ensure quality and reliability, and manage down costs to provide value to our development, test and program management partners. MPSD then shares our best practices, accomplishments, lessons learned and tools with Microsoft’s customers through whitepapers, blogs, presentations and solution accelerators. The addition of MPSD has taken the traditional product development cycle and turned it into a quad – Dev, Test, PM, and Ops, all working closely together to deliver great products and online services.

Faced with continued significant growth over the next few years, we currently have several openings for Senior Service Operations and Engineering folks focused on exceedingin driving critical improvement and feedback into our solutions.
