Accelelarated Analytics Solution for Retailers
I received an email today from the RainMaker Group with information of their offering for the Retail Industry: Accelerated Analytics, a Point of Sale data analysis tool. Retailers and suppliers have struggled for years with working together to optimize their supply chain. The benefits of vendor managed inventory (VMI) and collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) cannot be achieved without first sharing data with suppliers in a format they can immediately use to make business decisions. Unfortunately EDI 852 only provides the data communication medium but not the analysis tools. Accelerated Analytics was designed to facilitate retailer and supplier collaboration with a completely hosted solution so there is no hardware or software investment.
