One of the big challenges in the retail space has been the minimal use of computers on the store floor. With the new capability of viewing Sharepoint (MOSS 2007) based information on a Pocket PC or smartphone, it is now possible for a Store Manager to view the status of the tasks assigned to store associates via his smartphone.
