Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 10/02 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/02, 11:50 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/02, 10:55 UTC and that during the 55 minutes that it took to resolve the issue around 8% of customers might have experienced data access issues in West Europe region. 
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
