Misc friday morning ramblings…

Another friday morning. Another week almost done πŸ™‚ Turns out there are some interesting things going on in my world right now... And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that today is Friday the 13th πŸ˜‰

Me and my wife, Nicole, are celebrating our one year marriage aniversary this weekend!!! Well our aniversary is officially monday but who wants to celebrate on mondays. So we are going to spend the weekend over at Whidbey island where there is a bit Arts-n-craft festival. Getting a room on the island at the last minute was no little feat but after calling 5-6 places, we managed to get the honeymood suite in a hotel (can't remember the name) in Oak Harbor. How suiting πŸ™‚

This is something i had been meaning to do for a little while but i'v finally setup my own personal website. Blogs are good for up to the minute news and discussions but i wanted something more static where i could keep general information about my and my publications up to date. For now the site itself is really simple but i'll expand on it as time goes by. It's located at www.sebbybooks.com.

Dental Hell

Well i'v been having some dental issues over the past few months. So after a few consults i'v finally decided over the order of things i will have done. Overall, i'm looking at over 8000$ in dental work. But hey who has that much money asside for the simple purpose of dental torture??? So for now I'll be doing the most important stuff, which includes three crowns and a possible root canal. Since i have to finance all this i guess the rest will have to wait for next year πŸ™ All that to say, i am not looking forward to my four hours of torture on the chair next week!!!

I have not discussed much about my work so far. Although i have mentioned that i am working on the next Flight Simulator but can't really discuss any specific details since the product has not been officialy been announced. My main job is working on improving the graphics but right now we're between milestones which means that we're cleaning up the bugs for the next two weeks or so. In other words, it means that there isn't much of interest to announce. πŸ™‚
