Can’t you manage SSRS reports?

You are a member of Content Manager role but when you click “Manage” on an item (folder, report, resource, data source etc.) to access the Properties (*) tab, you get this error:

The permissions granted to user ',,,' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)

This is a known issue. The workaround is to add your user into the Browser role in the Home folder. You may also add a group instead of your user.

(*) The same issue is also effective for the “Data Sources” tab of a report. All other tabs (like Parameters, Security etc.) when managing items are not affected by this issue.
