You Get What You Pay For

Brian Button was looking at some code today and saw this as a test...

adRolesProvider = null;
Assert.IsNull(adRolesProvider);

Enough said.

UPDATE:
Just to be clear... Brian didn't write the test... just found it.

  1. LOL that sounds like him 🙂

    When I start mis-trusting the CLR’s ability to assign null, I will retire with the certainty that I have conquered!

    Please feed that boy some Xanax and play him an Enya CD!

  2. Brian Button says:

    Hey, Michael, I didn’t do it! I just *found* it today! Not my fault!!!!!

  3. We appologise for the fault in the tests. Those responsible have been sacked.

    Assert.IsNull(null);

    We apologise again for the fault in the tests. Those responsible for sacking Hisham^H^H^H the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.

  4. Well obviously you need to test your tests.

    Then test your …. brain out of stack space.

    I’d love to take credit for this, but no, it wasn’t me. I didn’t touch any of the Active Directory code. The guilty party will remain nameless…
