School of the Future Graduation June 2010

 As the year draws to an end, many people will descend upon the school on June 15th to see the first class of seniors to graduate from the School of the Future. There will be many questions, how successful are they? how many are graduating? where are they going? what's their gpa? I've been thinking about this now for a couple of weeks as I prepare to wish the seniors, that I've seen grow, off to their respective colleges. Everyone can be proud, the 118 seniors that are scheduled to walk, have all been accepted to a postsecondary institution of hire learning. That should really be the end of the story.  Which colleges? any prestigious ones? any Division I schools? I think I'll let you read the news articles that detail all of that.

You have to remember where these kids started from, very few of these kids had even thought about graduating high school, let alone going to college. So for the next couple of weeks, I'm going shake hands and congratulate them on this momentous occasion, and not take anything away from them. They've earned it, through the good an the bad our seniors are graduating!!
