Office 2007 OpenXML and ODF Interoperability -- Update

In July, I discussed the OpenXML Translator project on sourceforge.  This project is designed to build translator tools for conversion between the Office 2007 OpenXML format and the Open Document Format (ODF) used by OpenOffice and StarOffice.  Good progress is being made.....

The August CTP was just released in the last few weeks.  This release supports reading ODF from Word 2007, 2003 and XP.  The ability to "Save As" an ODF file will be implemented in the October CTP.  Additional information for the August CTP can be found here.
