Resizing Multiple Shapes in Visio (Screencast)

Need to get consistent widths or heights for shapes? You don’t need to do this manually or use macros. There’s a simple solution in Visio 2007 and Visio 2010 – Use the Size and Position Window to make precise changes to many shapes at once.

    Size to smallest/widest/shortest/tallest/ was the best thing Visio had. It made making my process maps so fluid. I don’t know what size I want, I just know that I want it to be the size of one of the others. Having to use the size window is clunky. MS made a big mistake getting rid of that!
