Our first three Power Toys for Visual Studio released
On Friday, we released our first set of Power Toys for Visual Studio! I have to say that I have a new profound respect for UE (documentation writers) and Release PMs (those PMs who drive the release of the project), as I’ve had to play both roles last week (along with some QA work, but that’s second nature these days).
MSBee
As mentioned in my previous post, MSBee is an addition to MSBuild that allows you to build managed apps in VS 2005 that target .NET 1.1.

What’s Next
I’m working to create official homepages for these power toys, while at the same time learning how to do screencasts. I’m also working to create a homepage for all things power toys and Visual Studio. I heard the term “Visual Studio Solutions Center” used the other day, and the more I think about it, the more I like it.
We’re about to start our second sprint for the power toys still in beta, completing the remaining work items, fixing bugs, and so forth. On the PM side, we’re going to begin investigations into our second set of power toy releases.
