Did you know… How to have Help appear within Visual Studio instead of Dexplorer

In Visual Studio .NET 2003, the default was for the help system to appear within Visual Studio.  We’ve changed it in Whidbey to appear externally from Visual Studio.  This is extremely useful for multi-monitor setups.

If you want to get the help system back inside Visual Studio, go to Tools – Options – Help – General, and use the “Show Help using:” combo box to select how you want to view the help system.  Unfortunately, you’ll have to relaunch Visual Studio for the changes to take effect.

Happy Visual Studio’ing!

Can we have firefox like "realtime" search feature in VS NET/msdn documentation?

I am refering to the search box that appears at the bottom of the window in fiefox and searches the current page as you type its a real time saver as compared to the bother some dialog box that comes up infront of you in MS apps and some times it would make it very hard to see the found line too. The toggle highlight feature of the firefox search box is also very helpful. For advanced searches we can keep the dalog box but for quick small searches the firefox like bar would be very helpful.
