Interoperability becomes more and more important as business applications are blending with infrastructure and building the future business process platform (BPP). This enables flexibility, an agile business platform, and many positive aspects like immediate reaction on market changes. But of course the maturity of the heterogeneous platform causes the growth of complexity in the overall IT landscape as well. This was one of many reasons for SAP and Microsoft to partner and solve those problems through the standardization of the products using Web services. This session will cover Web service interoperability between Microsoft .NET and SAP NetWeaver, Enterprise Services, the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), as well as different scenarios like the integration of Microsoft Unified Communication Technology and SAP, office business applications, Duet, and Microsoft Project Server. |
