SAP generally released SQL Server 2014 for SAP NetWeaver two weeks ago as announced in https://blogs.msdn.com/b/saponsqlserver/archive/2015/03/11/sql-server-2014-now-released-by-sap-for-sap-netweaver-7-xx.aspx
As of last week, the SQL Server 2014 In-Memory Optimized Columnstore is generally available for all supported SAP BW releases. The required SAP BW Support Packages are described in detail in https://blogs.msdn.com/b/saponsqlserver/archive/2015/01/08/sql-server-column-store-for-sap-bw-status-and-release-planning.aspx

Martin, when can we expect your blessing for DSO tables, 80% of our reporting is on DSO's and I'm really happy to know at least cubes can be leveraged for column store indexes.
